I got a pup that has eye matters bad. When i feed in the morning its bad then i take a soft piece of cloth and wipe it off then around noon i go turn him loose and its the same way. I would like to know if some you guys as experienced this and what yall have done to cure it.

I had one of my dogs get some dirt in its eye and his eye swelled shut and had alot of crust so I ran some water in it 3 times a day for a few days and it cleared up. You could give that a try and they also make eye drops but I would try flushing it's eye with just plain water first.

use whole milk and wash their eyes out twice a day. It has helped several times for me in the past.
Are the dogs on a chain? this can cause eye irritations when dusty or it can be allergies

Sometimes the dog just has a cold, it show's up that way in dogs.Not saying thats the case here just my 2 cents

Pollen, dust and dirt will goop up all dogs eyes. My hound and everyones hounds around here are gooped up pretty good with all the dust. It was really bad the begining of spring when all the pollen was flying around.

It could also be dry eye (Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca). One of my old dogs has it. Here eyes don't produce enough tears and I have to give her cyclosporine drops twice a day.
