Title: 1/27&28 with haakdt Post by: williamsld on January 28, 2024, 06:29:03 pm Muzzle loader finally over we made a round Saturday and Sunday morning
Saturday morning we hunted nothing but young dogs (nothing over 2 yrs old) managed to put hands on 4 hogs kill a few pigs and catch a few great dog work all around really impressed with two of them Merle and cj(crank son) (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240129/f595ec57221c3abfc5b82dbd0f15c358.jpg) (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240129/8630148182d49a2484b719a5c702edd1.jpg) (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240129/3b3b2766963923e2431a1e71a5b367b1.jpg) (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240129/b94821237c5738327d1d70fce0bc5df5.jpg)someone shot this boar (now Barr) in the foot it looks like (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240129/afa7e6a384c0e34660b0729840b1320e.jpg) (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240129/f181a010e9635fb1c9fe83fe916fc983.jpg) Then this morning we caught 4 brought Merle and cj again and a 8 month old pup (off a half brotherxsister cross down from crank) and two 3 year old dogs crook and big dog Bayed a big sow off the bat .6 from the truck then dogs rolled over and bayed another in the river it drowned being chest deep we forgot all about pictures (it was cold!) then went to high ground stretched another sow out and made another Barr hog he whopped up on Merle cj and the catch dogs but nothing major all and all great dog work all weekend! I looked for a long time for a good line of cur dogs but never found what I wanted and ended up gettin into plotts. I love them but I’m still on the look out for some good yella dogs too.

These are just some old ETX bred dogs nothing fancy just lots of hard hunting and harder culling! I like a good plott!
