We started a little late but it was cool enough that it didn’t matter. We got into a decent group numbers wise but nothing of any size. I didn’t see anything over 150. We ended up with 8 counting shoats too. I was watching Outlaw bay this last sow solo for a while and she decided she wanted to leave. She made it about 75 yards out of the brush and he turned her up on a tank dam(pond). He was tired because he’s not been hunted in a few weeks because of being in love. Deputy Dawg was a about 300 yards away and could hear him and asked if I wanted him to send me a catch dog. I said yes and the troops started arriving from other directions. Just as I had hung up, the sow rushed him and he caught her. I think he was glad to see the rest of the gang. It was a real good hunt for a couple of young dogs.

Anytime you catch 8, that is a great hunt. Ole Cannon is going to make a hoghunter for sure.

We made a round last weekend on 5000 acres of one of our leases ,,, I dont believe their was 8 hogs on the whole thing...LOL....

Thats a good round for sure,, dont take long for young dogs to figure things out when they are exposed to those numbers when they young...  And that little feller will have it figured out quick too...   Good deal man

T dog. What do you ride when you are hunting over there? A golfcart?

Cajun, that's been discussed so you can drive closer because they are quieter.

Cajun we have a Honda side by side and we usually have a trailer in tow for hogs, dogs, and people if need be. I he golf cart would be nice noise wise just don’t think they’ll get some of the places we go or pull what we pull.
