 went hunting this evening had a hunter from mexico that wanted to go for a quick hunt we caught this first boar a little bit before dark we killed him and was caping him out dogs got there wind and left out and bayed about 300 yards from us in the bottom of the canyon took off to them and they had a little boar bayed up against a rock ledge dogs had this hogs attention they were hammering on him didnt get anymore pics camera went dead

not one dog got cut they still wanted to hunt but but i was freezing to death so i figured i would go home and warm up try them again in morning

The fact that you have a pack of rough dogs dont run a cd and catch hogs like that on a regular basis without getting dogs cut down every hunt and laid up for wks amazes and impresses me! Good job as you know,,this lets me know I still have not seen it all and still have alot to learn.

my dogs arnt ruff they just know how to work a hog the only time my dogs will get a hold of a hog is if he trys to break . he got a bad problem then he is not goin to hav any nuts left my dogs will hit one spin them and bay the hell out of it there not very many will break a bay after my pack bays it

Thats good to know thats my favorite style of cur to hunt with! Do they catch when you get there, or how do you seal the deal?? cd, gun, or curs catch on command or when you are close?

Nice teeth. I would think that style of hunting is best suitable for your area. As many toothy hogs as you catch...one of them is more than likely to catch up with a bulldog before long.

I mean what is your ratio of hunting to catching. Do you catch evertime you hunt and do they all look like the photos I've seen?

i only post the good ones if i start a hog i catch about 90 % of them there not many that get a way it does happen though

While you're at it you should add a few more inches to the tusks and clean them up, They're looking a little on the shoat side and muddy!  :laugh:

stickn an shootin my friend its hard to get hogs out alife around here most are in the bottom of the canyon anyways if i want one alive i will set a trap and back up to it and load its lot easier that way

dogs bay till he gets there then on command tha hog hobbles itself, they know when they are caught . lol j/k good hogs , bad ace dogs !!  ;)

I didn't realize ya'll were stickin them, I thought you were catching. Couldn't figure out how you were doin it with no cd. That clears it up, I was confused.

my catch dog is my 30-30 i ran catch dogs for a long time and liked it but i was getting them killed left and right and alot of bays getting broke

Louisiana law doesn't let us use guns at night. You can use one during the day, but not at night. Guess with all the outlaws that's why its illegal.

Maybe you could sell those cutters by the set to all of us in the cyber hunting world, to take our own pictures with??? You might get RICH!
