EAST TEXAS HOG DOGGERS FORUM

Met up with a guy i met off of here today around noon, and turned loose at a place i have been having pretty good luck at. I only took 2 bays dogs with me butcher and the new mt.cur, since my buddy had a few young dogs he wanted to bring. We had been out of the truck maybe 30 and ole butcher opened up, well they got the sow shut down, when we got there her back side was pretty much gone, and her ears weren't doing too good themself. We ended up sticking her, it would have been a long haul out with her. So we gather the dogs up and head to the other side of the land, noticed couple dogs head off into the woods in a single file line, well all the dogs kept straight on the trail except butcher he hung a hard right with his head in the air at a dead run, i turned to my buddy and asked if he was ready for another hog, about that time i heard butcher, the dogs weren't 100 yards in the woods, and i saw the other bay dogs hauling butt to him, so i reached up front and turned the pretty BLUE PIT loose, well believe it or not she sealed the deal again for me.

well thank u mr. buddy. can't wait till after deer season , maybe we can pair some of them rough dogs up and catch a few shoats ;D

thanks marshall, them pup are about ready, they have longer ears like a hound, but man they are some big body little dudes

what's so sad is it's not even the cd that is tearing the ears up its them dang rough curs.

i know that's right, i didn't buy the dog because she was blue, i bought her because she catches and holds.

andrew brought a 6-7 old hound cur cross, and he really surprised me how good he kept up with the dogs, he was at both bays and was in the hogs face baying, it was a little funny watching that little dude.

Yeah I saw that older hound/cur pup and a lil brindle pup when he visited, I heard that pup did well on yalls hunt, he was very proud of her ;)

That little brindle cur pup he has is BEAUTIFUL!! I hope he posts some pics of her someday

thats harley, shes out of my old hound, molly and clints old snoppy dog. shes 5 months.
