Post by: duece24 on December 20, 2009, 05:32:55 pm in my experience that forum isn't the greatest. there are a lot of really ignorant people there. i was almost banned because i disagreed with a moderators friend. i wasn't disrespectful nor did i post vulgar words i stated my stance and backed it up and was told if don't stop causing problems i would be banned...i thought about posting over there but i choose to just let it be. those over there that are shooting dogs, well, they are just ignorant. they aren't even trying to listen to anyone or hear what the law states. furthermore there responses were "take care of it and dispose of the body somewhere else no one will know." that just exudes good hunting practices. i bet these are the same people that leave bags of corn on property, rut up property, and do all the things that us immoral and horrible hog DON'T DO rolleyes

I have had a few killed by cowards.

Also, the more of us that join the TDHA the more we will be able to help educate and fight for our rights as dog hunters. Always remember that there are more and more people against us everytime we turn around. Lets all do our part to help our sport out and keep the traditions alive.

That is the number one way we'll stop idiots, by making an example out of the ignorant people who shoot dogs. A lot of us will preach until the cows come home about the legalities of shooting dogs, and I do think it has an effect, but we still need solid ammo that convictions and settlements provide. And trust me, if my dog ever gets shot for doing her job, I will unleash a swarm of legal spider monkeys so intense they will wish they'd kept that bullet for themselves.
