Title: A real close friend of mine needs your help Post by: chad simmons on December 20, 2009, 11:33:15 pm Hello, My name is Chad Simmons and I work for Valley Creek Hunting Supply. I'm a coon hunter and went hog hunting for my frist time a week or so ago and fell in love with it. I never went before cause i new i would love it and as much coon hunting as i do i didn't need any more dogs. But anyway i have a real close friend that is an avid hog hunter and just last December he lost his 20 year old son to a farm accident and just last week he found out his wife has incureable cancer (she's only 32 years old), they have two daughters one 10 and one 18mo old. I don't know if ya'll do these kinds of posts on here but this family needs all the prayers they can get . So i would a appreciate it if ya'll could add this family to your prayer list. I would also like to see about getting a benefit hog hunt together in a couple of months to go towards this family, but as I said before I'm a coon hunter and have no clue on how to go about doing this, if anyone has any suggestions. I would really appreciate the help.
In the coon hunting world some of the biggest hunts are benefit hunts, cause hunters are like one big family. Just a note: I sold two of my coon hounds and bought my first hog dog, so now I'll be ready when my friend gets his family taken care of and starts hunting again so I can go with him.
