Title: Fence Building Post by: matt_aggie04 on December 21, 2009, 08:58:32 am I am trying to get an idea of what it cost to have a fence built by the foot. I will supply all materials, just want the posts put in the ground and wire installed. Wooden corners, t-posts for line posts, and 4' net wire stretched. Two 150' runs and one about 200', what do yall think a person should pay to have that done? I have done plenty of it myself but would like to have it done to save some time.

But I figure $1.50 for short fence is fair!! If you are going with cattle tuff net fence!! Do your wood line post every 100 ft at the least!!! X your brace post from the center don't put one wire to the bottom that wire is heavy and will pull out the post out of the ground!!! I fenced 100 acres with the cattle tuff 5 years ago and had to redo some but got it figured out!! You can put a deadman in the ground on you H brace and that will hold real good to some times even better than an X...
