Title: 1-9-10 afternoon hunt
Post by: uglydog on January 09, 2010, 08:52:50 pm
Did not have time to take pics of the first hog was a sow, about 85-90 lbs, The dogs were bayed and then split, Bay dogs caught the sow, before she was stuck I looked at the garmin and noticed the other half of the dogs were "treed" about 200 yds, away so we got the first one stuck in a hurry and headed to the others and this is the little boar they had

Regrouped and moved on through the property and got another bay going, did not last long they cur dogs had this one squealing before we turned loose the catch power

Pictured is Charles and Aaron and had to get these two pups in the picture, they are right at 13 months old, and the darker one is Cletus belongs to Catchrcall ( I am starting this pup for him) and the other is his littermate that now belongs to Aarons little brother, I take a little pride in them since they are out of my late Joker, just another generation of offspring that are coming along very well, makes my day.

That's great that they could get on that many in a day.  I'm excited that cletus is coming on so well, he'll be a lot of help around here.
