EAST TEXAS HOG DOGGERS FORUM

Yesterday afternoon we turned out the dogs at the edge of a pasture by the tree line. My black mouth was going nuts so i turned the dogs loose. they took off into the brush and start to bay then stop so i waited and they bayed upa big sow in a creek. me and a friend of mine run to the creek and turned loose his catch dog it was the first hog he'd been on i the woods and the hog was on a tall bank. he raun in to catch and the hog hit him and through him down the hill the dogs bayed the hog in abend in the creek and he ran in and caught. We stuck the hog then hunted about thirty minutes thn put up the dogs and went and got the hog out.

the sow weighed about 200.

This is a picture from saturday we didn't catch anything but it was good geting out hunting.

Thanks, shes the oldest of the four (10months) but  i can already tell shes goin to be good if i hunt her.

Thanks i hope they turn out. I plan to go tomorrow. I went to day and saw alot of fresh sign and could hear a couple, so I'll probably go there.

That was a pretty good hog we caught i didn't know that you had put pics on there until today at school. Hopefully we can get another one or a couple on saturday, and maybe Sunday.

this was the first time my dogs had been on a hog in the woods and the first time his catch dog had been to the woods and was a the only catch dog. T.C. 75925 is the one on the right. I'm on the left.
