Title: new food making a difference Post by: Bino9905 on January 16, 2010, 03:06:28 pm I have been feeding my dog diamond 24/20 food and he is doing good but poop is always a little soft making it hard to clean up. He has weighed right at 68-69 pounds for several months
So I decided to switch him to expensive (no grain) food called "taste of the wild" about 2 weeks ago. I think its 33/18 formula. He has a senstive stomach so I decided to make the switch slow. I have been blending in the new food slowly and I am only feeding 25% new food now. weighed him today and he is 73 pounds! Gained 4 pounds of muscle in 2 weeks. His activity level is the same, I will let yall know how it turns out as I begin feeding more of the expensive food. Im not sure if its worth the extra cost, but i think the weight gain at least it is doing "something" better than the old food. If its worth the extra cost well all that is a matter of opinion and each persons wallet size..... I havent made up my mind yet if I will stick to diamond or continue the expensive food.....
