Title: Riding stables? Post by: dabutcher on January 17, 2010, 04:10:39 pm I'm looking for a riding stable within 2hours drive of Hallettsville, which would put it around the Houston or San Antonio area. My daughter is really wanting to start riding lessons and I'd rather have someone that has some super broke kid horses/ponies and an enclosed arena and riding pen for her to learn. This is my daughter so I'm hoping someone here can give a reference for someone like this as I don't want to go into this blindly and putting my faith into just anyone's hands.

Just be careful alot of people out there claiming to be instructors and trainers these days that are a joke, and will take you money and don't teach you anything you can't learn in a book, and its ridiculous. I have been teaching my Neice a few very basic things, That she should have learned several hundred dollars ago from the people she was taking lessons from. Title: Re: Riding stables? She's really wanting to learn and I'd like to let her at least try it for a while and see if it's something she wants to keep doing. |
