Title: Red Chain Dog Food Post by: catdog on January 26, 2010, 10:50:14 am I have a buddy that opened a feed store and he can get me red chain dog food at a good price. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts were about it. Has 27% protien, 10% fat, 6% fiber. Thanks

You can get good deals ordering by the ton. just depends on what you want out of it, i finally am on the last bag and went to the Victor 24/20. redchain is a cornbased food if you didnt know. I fed my dogs on it and they did alright, but you will have some messy kennels...

That is why you have messy kennels, what happens when you eat alot of cabbage and broccoli? Ross I have been feeding that kennel special out of Hamlin, for the money that is about is about the best feed I can find. I think it is 26% pro. 18%fat, 4% fiber for about $550/ton or 13.75/bag. Dogs seem to be liking it. Thats currently the feed I'm using as well. Dogs are doing good, but have one dog that I would like to try something else with. I can't complain about the quality and the dogs do very good on it, nice coats and gums and have plenty of energy for the hunt.

As they set up dealers I'll let yall know. If you want you can give me locations(towns) and I'll call him and ask what is closest to it as of now.
