We have some that will and some that won't... I wish none of them would. That's what the catch dogs are for. ;)

Me personally I like as many dogs caught on a hog as i can get mostly its 4 or 5 but sometimes a few of them are on there own hog and there are several bays at one time used to have rough enough dogs didn't need actual catch dogs  it hard to find solid pack like that

I have some loose bayin' gyps, but after the cd catches, they will help. My best strike dog will get out when she knows the young guns have it under control. I like that, cause if there I
are still pigs in tha area, she'll roll out again.

I can't stand a dog that won't get out when told. Nothing worse than a bunch of dogs chewing a hog.

x3

personally i train my dogs not to catch after cd so i can catch more hogs and keep the hog in good condition and plus in my opinion their job is to find and stop the hog not catch it, it helps save dogs from getting cut when my dogs just do their job and not try to help others with theirs  JMO

All mine will, some just catch "harder" than others.

I like to see my trike dogs when I get there and when the catch dogs hit they should be rolling out. Most of our older dogs will do this takes the younger ones alittle longer. I hate trying to flip a hpg with 4 or 5 dogs on him.

lots of mine will come off soon as i get there and roll out but catch dog normally gets cut loose if needed to,  soon as it can here solid bay might be 500-1000yrds

500 to - 1000yds...got dang....that's too far for me..i would think the catch dog would be winded by then...if you told me to run at a dead sprint for 500yds then fight someone who is fighting for their life...i don't know who would win that fight...you've got some great catch dogs to turn loose at that distance...man!!

i like some dogs to be catchy but i always cary a straight bay dog to the woods bc if you get on a hog an every dog is caught then its hard to find the hog an it normally gets pretty chewed up but if you got a good bay dog there its alot easier to locate the the dogs an hog!
