Title: Location on your profile Post by: Critter Catcher on February 25, 2010, 04:12:16 pm I was wanting to know why when I go to a profile of someone selling a dog or has an item I'm interested in I never see their location. This would help a lot because I'm not driving to Ok or Ar to pick up a 300.00 dog and I would rather not waste both of our time calling and talking about it and then finding out it's to far for me. What I'm getting to is, why not put location in your profile or in the posting if you're going to sell something? Just a thought..... :-\

Title: Re: Location on your profile Post by: USHOG on February 26, 2010, 08:20:38 am I think it should be mandatory when signing up... Title: Re: Location on your profile Post by: Circle C on February 26, 2010, 08:49:40 am FYI,
In most cases you can type a person's phone number or email address into Google, and it will pull up some of their info. Quote I think it should be mandatory when signing up... I doubt we will implement that policy, as some people intentionally leave their location vague, ie South Texas, East Texas, West Texas. They have their reasons, one of which is to keep people from narrowing down where they are hunting and to prevent ANTI's from messing with them. I was vague about my location but at least a general idea is nice. I hate pestering people for a location to find out they are 1000 miles away.
