Title: DC-30 Repairs Post by: ETHHunters on February 26, 2010, 01:29:59 pm Does anyone know of somewhere that works on DC-30 collars other than garmin?

Reason I ask, is that last time I talked to Garmin I asked them about out of warranty repairs, and they quoted a fixed price that I felt was quite reasonable. Title: Re: DC-30 Repairs Post by: ETHHunters on February 26, 2010, 01:35:56 pm Talked to them this morning and it is a flat rate of $90.00 plus shipping. Im looking at having $100 in a very used collar. With the prices of new ones these days I'm not sure it wouldnt be better to just toss it and get a new one.

I guess I thought they would fix it for about $10. ;D
Title: Re: DC-30 Repairs Post by: Circle C on February 26, 2010, 01:50:07 pm You could always do like someone else did a while back, and just put it on the classified for $100.00 someone will buy it and think they are getting a good deal... >:(
How far out of warranty are you? They replaced my handheld for free and I was past my warranty by a month or two. Title: Re: DC-30 Repairs Post by: ETHHunters on February 26, 2010, 01:55:42 pm Chris can you delete this post where I can go ahead and put it on the classifieds! ;D Im not sure how far out of warranty it is the guy I talked to was not real helpful. I think I will give them another call and get someone else on the line. Thanks for the help
