Title: good sow...pups turned the heat on Post by: goose on March 01, 2010, 11:10:41 am me, linkylanky, and his fiance went and met are buddys kyle and brandon sunday we got there bout lunch time and they had been running a hog since about 9am and kyles walker/cur pup had come out and his old plott gyp was only getting further so we decided to go hunt my and linkys(chris') pups we went back to the spot where they jumped and walked the pups bout 200yds into the woods and chris' lil camille dog went in and started baying my pups ddnt know wat to thnk this...was only their second time in the woods and 2nd time ever seeing a hog...they got in there and bayed good caught a lil shoat with them...kyle had to bring brandon back out so me chris and his fiance gina made a lil run with the pups with no sucess but they hunted good thats all i ask out of them this young....kyle gets back and we finally make it to his old plott gyp who has been bayed since bout 10:30-11:00 and its now bout 3:30 when the pups realize wat the old dog jade is doing the swamp came alive with that sweet music we all love to hear...after we catch her we realize she is heavy bred and we were in one of those secret spots so we turn her loose...man when i let go of them legs that huzzy put me up a sapling and i dnt thnk theres a coondog in this country that could tree as good as her;D....we waited about 5 min an turned my pups loose they all took the track for about 20-30 min and eventually all came back one by one (http://i895.photobucket.com/albums/ac154/goose87/goosepics090.jpg)
