Look Im going to have to sign up for one of these classes or maybe join a lifetime group. This hobby is got a hold of me. I wake up in the morning with the shakes ( needing to catch a pig). About lunch Im not thinking about food but pulled pork would be nice. About two oclock Im thinking about leaving job early so I can be bayed by five. Only to run the pads off the dogs by 10. so tired I cant think straight . I try to sneak in the door and wifes mini dac. is barking, damn busted again. Wife is complaining that i dont do nothing around house or spend time with them. I beg to differ I always ask if they want to go. I know that I truly need help. 1-800-luv-hogs ( HHa)

I'll join your group. My wife says the same thing about me. Heck, maybe we'll go huntin and the wife's can get togather and do something. lol.

I've lived with Hoghunteritis for more than 1/2 my life and have found ETHD to be my support group. My name is Isaac and I am a hog hunter!  :laugh:

Asking if they want to go counts as spending time with them to me. HHA would help me quit, no thanks I am out. I am just going to grab my sweet little kids and take them with me. HA HA HA! Then I can tell my wife she never spends time with us! My sly plan is sure to work! I can say me kids and the dogs are all together and we feel neglected. I am sure the absence of maternal love is the cause of all our problems. Oh this is great! Thanks for the marriage therapy. Wow this HHA thing has changed my life!

Yep i got in at 2 am the other morning and man did my ol lady let me know about it. I keep telling her its better than running the bars but it usually doesnt work any more.

Been a user along time!!! I really hope HHA will help I have tried stopping several times but it just takes over!!!I get shivers and shake if I'm not hunting!!My mom told me to never quit!!! Hog hunting is the only thing I listen to moma on!!

I don't drink caffine
I don't do drugs
But I do hog hunt!!!

I have been put on RITALIN for this did not help!!And if i'm not hunting then I have to take deprestion medicine to keep me going tell the next hunt!!

This is the truth when I was in school I skipped 23 days straight the school called my mom and said where is Chance is he ok my mom said 23 days and you just called!!! I hog hunted 23 straight days before I got caught and tied alot of hogs in those 23 days!!Stayed  grounded from hog hunting for about 6 months!!!! Quit basketball -football to hog hunt!! All I cared about was them 3 dogs and that horse!! Me and my wifes first date was a hog hunt we have been together for 14 years married for 10 she hunts with me still and I love her as much now as I did then!! Went on a hunt with her hear the other day we hunted that morning then ate us a pinic lunch laid in the middle of a field took about a 3 hour nap got up and started hunting again!!! Now I would say that addicted!!

Now thats love and a good family function!!

ast saturday night i sent my buddy a text at 12:30  1:00 in the am. about a dog it started out   my name is john and im an addict.i think most people are sick of hearing about hog huntin from me but i dont understand why.i dont hear enough.hawgs dogs blood and mud   aint nothing  like it.

My wife pointed out this thread to me as if I fit into this category! I told her we would have to have this conversation later when I get back from hunting.

My family read this and does not understand what yall's problems are. My wife and 5 kids all agree that the only problem here is that there are actually people that dont hunt.

I will say if you have 20 dogs you do have a problem and hog hunting isn't it, learn to say NO.

My wife found out about my plan. She said that if I took the kids she would go. She thought I would say no way. She was wrong.

I have a problem too! MY HUSBAND doesn't want to hunt as much as I do!!There have been several times I have gone without him.

What time and where are the meetings...i also need counseling

i said i had 20 dog some are hog dogs some are reg rednose pit some are reg blue pit  but the other 10 they are hog dogs lol

I stoped smoking and it was hard but i could never imagine to stop hog hunting. My ex Girlfriend try to make me stop i guess thats why she is my ex i told her hog hunting was here a long time before you were and it will be here after your gone........ My new girl wants to hunt every chance she gets i took her one time and she is hooked thats good cuz im not ever goin to stop hunting hogs.  It will probablly be the death of me..........

Hi my name is Matt and i too have a problem!!  I find myself thinking about hog dogging every minute i have.  i drive home from work everyday looking at the same scenery for the past 3 years and i still look at every open field and opening looking for a hog.  i am lucky that my wife loves it just as much as me.  I think we both have a problem and i really don't think i want help with it unless its better dogs, better places to hunt, and more time to hunt.  We are newly weds and our parents keep asking us when are the kids coming, and we keep giving them the same answer, we have kids (the dogs) and they take up all of our time!!!!  My wife goes with me every chance she has as long as it isn't too cold, and i wouldn't have it any other way.  My hog hunting buddy email each other all day talking about were we are gonna go and how were gonna hunt it starting first thing in the morning on Monday and lasting all week.  then we get to stick a pig (hopefully) and start it all over agian each week.
