Title: pups strikes for first time Post by: mudhog24 on April 19, 2010, 09:22:13 pm well guys as some of you know i got a brindle pup and she has just been on a role shows lots of heart and bays strong....we started out on a hunt with my friend hal and bud at 6 this mornin we had one bayed solid about 8 and by the time we got to the bay them rough curs had finished her no bull dog needed there so we roll out hunt a few more hr and not one fresh track around we head to a power line wright a way and as we sit on the wheelers talkin trash about five big sows and who knows how many pigs and piglets run across about 100 yards in front of us we immediatly turn loose all the dogs were chasin hogs they rolled out we heard a dog baying about hundred yards in not sure what dog it was at the time just one was all we knew i start walking with my bull dog down to it when i realized it was my brindle pup all by herself holding a good bay never put a teeth in it until it was caught stayed straight with it i was so excited to see her progress like this that i just had to brag if i had to guess maybe a 80lbs or so and pretty fisty for a young pup toltal for today was 5 caught hogs thanks to the power lines
