Title: First hunt with new buddies Post by: nogalus boy on May 03, 2010, 10:58:30 am Nick Jones, Cody Holmes and I went huntin for the first time Sunday morning. I met Nick on here and he lived right up the road from me so we decided to turn some dogs loose. We got to the spot at about 7:00am and let the dogs loose. We didnt get about 75 yards away from the truck and heard them start baying. Kind of suprised us a little. Got the catch dogs in position and they did the job. Caught a good boar that will probably go 175 to 200. Good size cutters on him. My cat dog got one in the flank and Nicks catch dog got cut on the leg. I think they will be ok. It sure could have been a lot worse. It sure was not a bad hunt with some new huntin buddies.

Will know when we kill him. He was kind of P O ed at the time.
