Title: 13 pig night Post by: Boar Collector on May 09, 2010, 01:16:05 pm Decided to go hunting WITHOUT the dogs. Brady, Kerri, Sabrina and I loaded up the Ar-15, .22 and dug out the spotlight. Pulled down into my Grandpa's first place along the river bottom and drove around a bit before I saw a boar walking down the road about 180 pounds. He had already seen us and was running away I flung a couple of shots at him but he hit the brush and hauled balls. We went to the next place and as soon as I turned the light on I spotted 3 decent sows and piglets running everywhere. I started shooting and a couple of pigs dropped and then Brady popped it in 4 wheel drive and almost threw me out the window. We ran right through the middle of them and I got out and dropped a few more with the .22. Should've brought the dogs lol but we got 13 out of my Grandpas hair

Title: Re: 13 pig night Post by: Boar Collector on May 09, 2010, 10:48:05 pm It was a shame all that meat had to go to waste. We couldn't find anyone that wanted them at that hour but the next day everyone decided to tell us that we should've called them anyways. And yes it is some good blood lol. My Great Grandpa let a bunch of show pigs out a long time ago and the bloods still showing but slowly disappearing
