My good friend Harry Bodle (BoarBuster67) went out of his way to pick this little 6 month old AB gyp up for me on his way home from the rig last night. A friend of Bryant's (Underdog) had her up near Dallas. Bryant and I have been talking about getting her for the last few weeks now. I really like the way she is put together, good temperment and easy to handle for a puppy. If she catches a hog, I'll like her even more. ;D I want to thank Bryant and Harry again for making this happen.

She looks good, Mike. I can see the dogs that are in her pedigree...in those 2 pictures of her.

Scott, I was thinking she was going to be a smaller dog. Doug was saying she was around 35 lbs. I put her on the scale at work and she weighed in at 58 lbs. ;D

What weight do you think she'll finish out at... maybe 80 to 85?

Mike, if I had to guess at an actual number, I'd say she'd mature at around 80 pounds. I'd definitely expect in the range of 75-85 pounds. She's a scatterbred dog, but there's plenty of size in 3/4 of her pedigree.

Her grandma on dads side is Shiners grandma,her grandsire on her moms side is a 1/2 bro to Nubbin and Annie.

i can send pics over the phone  i got him from sportsman  ask him about kentucky  hell tell ya   i aint no pro at all  but i got lucky with my pac  2 great bulldogs and my strike dog is only 20 months   my bmcs r great too  im lucky  but if any one wants to breed off this pit im all 4 it  believe me  hes impressive  pm me ure number an ill send pics    id like to keep his bloodline goin in the hog dog world   an mike if ud like to hook up with ure new catchdog prospect im down

I appreciate the offer, but she's got a long road ahead of her before I decide to breed her. I'm real picky in what I like in a catch dog. If she does make the cut, her boyfriend is already waiting. ;) Ol' Shiner, in my eyes, is the perfect speciman of an American Bulldog.

Well Mike I hope she works if not Underdog knows what I would want to be done. I think a lot of her daddy that is why he still eats my feed and to me he is what a Bulldog should be be. Only thing I don't like is all the white. Hope she truns out for you.

Hey Douglas, thanks again... I didn't even know you were on here. I'm pretty particular on what I like in a catch dog, she'll either make the cut or she won't. Only time will tell.

Yea I am not big on the computer drama that takes place at times. Hope she works. Scott the furry is getting to pretty good at what he does but he is a Mal  so he should.

I really like the way she is put together, i am trying to get started in th ab's too. what line is she out of?
I have a female down in fla. awaiting to be bred to a well put together male.

She is a bit scatter bred but from working dogs none the less.

Her sire is from a Old glory bred male and a down n dirty bred gyp,her mom is Shiners grand damm. Her mom is from a hybrid/hines breeding although I need to find out exactly what gyp anyway,a steel trap bred gyp related to my Annie n Nubbin dogs. Doug is a nut and if she lived to this age she has potential or wouldn't be here. I think the blend she is out of should mesh well and compliment each other.

Hope the pup works out for you. She does look good, for sure. I bred the Sire, and can tell you his parents and grandparents and so on are and were good hard c-d's. Here is a link to the Sire's brothers ped for your record. Look forward to seeing her mature. Glad Doug put her in a working home.

Man I sure missed out.I had a pup reserved from Scotts last litter but stuff happened.I want one of them ABs bad!

Man that sux you missed out......I got me one,had one from Appolo n Dallas but she died last summer...

Here is my new one,we named her for my daughter as the last one was her dog too and the names are similar sounding. Also named her what we did cause the first thing she did was piss on the living room floor  ;D

Thanks Mike and good luck with her. All the dogs on the top side behind and including Major Pain are from  Dorsey Trophy Hunters Lodge. And they might be catching in a 100 acre wooded enclosure, but its rough terrain, never Sows always Boar hogs and they do it 300-500 times a year. If they live.So I would say they are tested.lol



I have a alot of that blood and will keep this board posted when pups are available.
