well a few months back i traded a catch dog for a cur and the deal went ok the catch dog he had lots of life loved people  would talk to me on the chain  thats when he left here well i got him back the other day becouse i thought i was getting the same dog back that i traded but i get him home and now when you walk up to him he pisses all over him self and is scard to death  want some oppinions please CAN ANY ONE TELL ME WHY HE ACTS LIKE THIS NOW

sounds like he got the hell beat out of him in my opinion

Some people are (harder) than others on their dogs.  Give him time maybe he will change

X2, Just wondering why or how you got him back?

i bought him back thinking he was going to be the dog i sold a few months back boy was i wrong

he got a beat down... show him some love and he should strat to come around.. it might take awhile thow.... i got a bulldog that was the same way... she only comes to me .. and runs off from everybody... but now three months later.. is startin to come around... still skitish thow... ive raised alot of dogs..... u can wope a dog to get on them... and teach them.. BUT... ive seen first hand guys that beat or kick the sh!t out of a dog.. cuase it dont listen.. or it does something wrong...... dogs are like kids.....show them love and teach them what u want.... and they will do their best to make u happy  and learn...... as for bettin on them.... just think how would u feel if u got beat on all the time ..... thats just wrong.... theres no reason for beatin a dog... i had a pit that was lovin... but was the meanest dog u every seen.. if u hit him... make u think twice about hitting him....and we trained him that way..    best watch dog ever..

Take him with you when you drive to the store or wherever you can. I like to pick up a scared dog. Not for long but it puts you in charge and they see you will not hurt him. It takes a lot of effort to fix it. You really have to work at building trust again. You know the personality so you should work with that.

My cat was the same way when i got her, she still pees when i scolled her, so i just try to scolled her nicely if that makes since, she sleeps at the foot of my bed, goes every where with me, so she has came along way, but i think she will all ways pee when she gets in trouble
