Scott, (ImTheBadMan)-ETHD, who is a Prostaff member on Team XXXtremeHogDoggin got a full body mount of the big Silver Boar we caught back in November, it is the 1st Hog on our Pig Stickin Video. He called me this morning to tell me our taxidermist was on her way over with the mount, so my wife and I went out to get a few pics of it. I believe the Hog looks alot different than when we caught it! It is quite a bit smaller and the face is alot wider than original. I think it still looks great, it has a beautiful thick coat. Tell us what you think. Thanks for your opinions.

I think it turned out great. I don't think you could ask for any better. Hogs are difficult, make it a full body mount and your talking some serious taxi skills. Got any pics of the hog when it was killed to compare?

LOL....Funny you say that BoarNinja! The little black Pit gyp that helped catch it lives in the house with this hog and as soon as he let her in he had to break her off of it and move her outside....True Story! Thankfully she didnt tear it up.

Nice mount!, I do not think that the taxidermist made it any smaller or changed the face any, I think did a heck of a job, only thing to critique is the front feet maybe, maybe not pictures may be decieving.

Real nice looking silver!  I've been tryin' to catch a silver worth mounting for a while.... maybe one of these days...  caught some big and perty enuff ... just not with enough story to make it mean anything to me...

Sure would like to have a full body mount, but I'd rather see the hog posed in "slinging mode"...

We had three catch dogs on this one Noah, He didnt get much of a chance to sling anything!    lol

My husband (raider54) and I went to Scott's house (imthbdmn) to take these pictures.  We knew it would be an awesome looking mount, but had no idea just how great it actually turned out.  The coat on that boar is so thick!  It was a winter boar and you sure can tell by all of the hair on the bad boy.   O0

Great looking mount! Only thing that would make it look sweeter is if his mane was sticking up. Don't matter though, still a perfect mount!

That has already been expressed to her and she said she would come back out and stand it up!

Now THAT IS FINE!!! I had one mounted a while back. They never turn out exactly how they looked in real life. I think the forms they use are shaped more like a domestic hawg with a shorter and wider head. But that really is the best looking hog mount I've ever seen. The next one I get will just be the head though so I can hang it on the wall. I can't ever find a good place to set the one I have. I just brought it up to our cabin so it won't be in the way here at the house.
