Title: 7/25 Hunt Post by: matt_aggie04 on July 26, 2007, 08:25:21 am Good Hunt Last night! Was able to get Josh on his very first hog! Blue Smile and Peanut kept this good little boar bayed for over an hour while we worked our way to them. Cut Blue and Smiley pretty good and Clifford took half a dozen pokes or so. Nasty little teeth, real proud of the dogs for staying on this one and Mike for doing the swimming duty. Dang hog found the oly little pond in the woods and tried to drowned out Clifford and Mike and Smiley had to play catch dog.

One time I had 2 dogs caught on a Javelina in a 10in pipe in the middle of a 12ft section. I had a pit at the time and I clipped leads to her vest and sent her in. When she had a good grip on the Dirty Rat I pulled the whole pile out and stuck the Javi before his head cleared the end.
