Title: 7-17-10 Post by: Txhoghunter on July 18, 2010, 01:15:59 pm Tried to catch some sows to put some ear tags in this weekend at the ranch...but all we could find were boars. Go figure. Kevin O came down from Ok Friday, and we met up with Levi and Ricky. Bayed one hog on the hunt, and this was the first time Ive hunted there and not caught a hog. Last night Kevin A, Rodney, and a couple of guys I work with met up for another round. After getting on some runners in one corn patch, we went to another down the road. The dogs left out and bayed about 500 yards. Hog broke, they worked it out, ended up catching him finally...after that we ran several more, with no luck. I think my dogs will be getting fat until the corn is cut ;D
