Title: Dog stays skinny Post by: Bjanecek on August 06, 2010, 08:54:55 pm I have a full blooded pit bull that has a frame to be huge but he won't gain weight. Had him tested for worms and he checked out good. There is food in front of him at all times and he eats his share but stays skinny. Any suggestions?

Title: Re: Dog stays skinny Post by: Miller Lite on August 07, 2010, 02:01:34 pm I was coonhuntin one night and had a rednose come to the tree when i got there he was shakin vines i could've counted the bones in his body i took him home and gave him human whey protein and within a week you could tell he was gettin fat i kept puttin a little bit on his food and his water and he slowly but surely filled out its worth a shot ... worked for me

Title: Re: Dog stays skinny Post by: martin c. on August 09, 2010, 01:59:04 pm I was feeding a cheap dog food from the co-op and had loose stools, bad smell, and no weight gain and poor performance. SportMix change all that. would'nt feed anything else.
