520 POUNDS COUGHT IN OKLAHOMA.  WE CAUGHT HIM IN STANDING CORN.   I'LL GET PICS ON HERE IN A LITTLE BIT IF I CAN FIGURE IT OUT.  BIGGEST HOG I HAVE EVER SEEN OR HEARD ABOUT.

I belive it! I herd about it all the way in south ms ;) From what I understand WOOD weighed it at a co-op. Great job wood im ready to see the pics.

i heard of a hog like around the euafala dam area.       it takes alot of pork to break 500,   i have never seen one.      bring on the pictures

WE DROPPED THE DOGS ON ABOUT 4:00 AM ON A CORN PATCH.  DOGS ROLLED DOWN THE ROAD AROUND 100 YARDS AND IN THE CORN THEY WENT. BAYED ABOUT 80 YARDS ACCORDING TO THE GARMIN.  HOG DIDN'T GO ANYWHERE. BAYED UP SOLID. AS SOON AS THE BAY DOGS STARTED I DUMPED THE BOX INCLUDING CATCH DOGS.  THEN WE HEARD THE HOG GRUNTING.  WE MADE OUR WAY THROUGH THE CORN AND GOT THERE TO FIND A SPOT IN THE CORN ABOUT 20 FT WHERE THE HOG LAYED THE CORN DOWN.  DOGS WERE HANGING ON AND I DON'T THINK THEIR FEET WERE EVEN ON THE GROUND.  I WAS THE FIRST ONE THERE AND BEGAN BACKING UP AS SOON AS I SAW THIS BRUTE.  I THOUGHT THE DOGS HAD TRASHED ON A STRAY YEARLING STEER.  ONE OF MY PARTNER'S WAS CARRYING A SPEAR. HE STUCK THAT SUCKER AND IT BOUNCED RIGHT OFF.  FINALLY WE GOT HIM STUCK AND I REACHED DOWN AND GRABBED A LEG AND COULDN'T PICK THE BACK END OFF THE GROUND.  WE SAT THERE IN AMAZEMENT!  I BEGAN CALLING MY WIFE AND TOLD HER THAT WE HAD CAUGHT THE BIGGEST HOG I HAD EVER HEARD ABOUT.  
DOGS ROLLED OUT AND CAUGHT A GOOD SIZE BOAR THAT COULDN'T EVEN TOUCH THIS SUCKER.
ENDED UP CATCHING 3 ON THE NIGHT.
THIS BOAR HAD BOTH TESTES AND ONLY HAD UPPERS AND HALF A CUTTER.  HIS UPPERS ARE ABOUT AS BIG AROUND AS A HALF DOLLAR.
AFTER ALL THE DOGS WERE CAUGHT BACK UP, WE BEGAN THE HARD PART OF DRAGGING THIS HOG OUT OF THE CORN.  IT TOOK US 2 HOURS TO DRAG HIM 130 YARDS WITH 4 GUYS.
WE HAD TO WAIT TILL THE COOP OPENED TO WEIGH HIM WHERE HE TOPPED THE SCALES AT 520LBS.
AFTER WE WEIGHED HIM I CALLED MY WIFE AGAIN AND ASKED HER HOW MUCH SHE TOUGHT IT WEIGHED AND SHE SAID 520.  SHE'S PSYCHIC.

I THINK I AM DONE HUNTING HOGS CAUSE I'M NEVER EVEN GONNA GET CLOSE TO THE SIZE OF THIS GUY.

ROUGHDOG, THE PICTURES DON'T REALLY DO IT JUSTICE.  THIS SUCKER WAS 4 FT TALL AND 2 1/2 FT WIDE.  HIS HEAD WILL WEIGH 100 BY ITSELF.  LIVING IN AN IRRIGATED CORN FIELD HAS ITS ADVANTAGES.  MY BUDDY THAT WAS WITH US TOOK SOME PICS WITH A DIGITAL CAMERA AND WAS SUPPOSED TO EMAIL THEM TO ME BUT HE HASN'T DONE IT YET.

dang nice hog, that feild was full of big hogs from the sound of the story.     there is not a easy way to drag one out of a corn feild thats for shure..

I've seen a lot of dead hogs, and this is easily the biggest I've ever seen.  I went and saw him when I got off work that morning.  The pictures don't do that hog justice.  I tried several different ways to get pictures on my cellphone that would show how big the hog actually is & you just can't tell it from the pictures.  He's really that big.  He's fat too, when I first saw him I thought he must've been a barr because he was so fat.  His feet are 3" across, and they look abnormally small in proportion to his body.  He must've been leaving a heckuva divot in the ground when he walked through that corn.  His feet don't look big enough to carry that big ol' body.  He's thick and round all the way around that big ol' body.

I'm the world's biggest skeptic of weights on hogs, but when you see this hog in person it's not hard to believe what he weighed.  He's freakin' huge.  Up until yesterday, the biggest hog I'd ever seen weighed was 342 lbs.  This one is easily bigger.  He's a once in a lifetime hog. 

 Dang!!!! If i would have had to help drag him outta that corn field, i would have suggested taking a whole lot of pics right there and leave that big sucker lay! That is one big ol' hog! :o

got ours done for $1600  the problem with that hog would be finding a form big enough. I guess they could build one!

I would throw that hog in a freezer and figure out a way to get him to Thre' in Louisiana. Absolute best taxidermy I have ever seen on a hog. If I didn't have room for a body mount, I would add on to the house so he would fit. ;D

Really impressive to catch a hog that size with dogs.   I'd have given anything to see the expression on y'alls faces when you came to the bay and saw that monster.

DEREK I WAS PROBABLY HUNTING WITH HIS NEPHEW WHEN WE CAUGHT THE "BIG ONE"
WHEN I GOT TO THE BAY I LITERALLY TOOK A FEW STEPS BACK AND UTTERED SOME SORT OF MUMBO JUMBO.
I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN AT LEAST A SHOULDER MOUNT, BUT I MADE THE MISTAKE OF STOPPING BY THE LOCAL FEED STORE AND FLOCKS OF PEOPLE CAME TO LOOK.  I WAS ON MY WAY TO THE HOUSE AND TURNED A CORNER AND HE ABOUT FLIPPED MY DOG BOX WHEN I TURNED HE ROLLED AND I HAD TO STOP AND FIX THAT THEN ANOTHER FLOCK OF PEOPLE CAME BY STOPPING AND GAWKING.  I WAS A TIRED HOT SUCKER WHEN I GOT HOME AND HE WAS ALREADY STARTING TO BLOAT.  I AM GOINT TO GET A GOOD SKULL MOUNT DONE.  I KNOW I KNOW IT'S A SHAME.

We were hunting and Hootie started telling me about this big hog. I pulled up ETHD on my iPhone and showed him the pic and asked if that's it. Hootie about flipped. "how'd you get that they just caught it yesterday?" I think the technology impressed him.

What? Why didn't you flip and tie him? ;D I would have had to change my pants if I walked up on that bay. You would need a tractor to flip that one! Then cable to tie him!
