Patrick, JJ and Brinks did a good job of finally shuttin this one down but they all paid for it. Patrick got a chunk of bone knocked out of his left knee and brinks looks like he got hit in the chest with a machete.. According to the gps they ran him right at 2.5 miles before they got him bayed in the middle of a 150 degree briar patch.. I expect a dog to find a hog when I turn him loose and aint surprised when a dog does what he's supposed to but I gotta say I was impressed with the job they did on this hog. They ran a long way and through a lot of bad stuff to bay this hog and kept him there until we finally made it to them.. And it wasn't exactly what I would call cool weather either.. Pat will be out for awhile but hopefully not for good.. Man I don't know how ya'll hunt in the day this time of the year. It was 90 degrees when I was heading to the office this mornin. Is it illegal to hunt after dark down there? Good boar!
