EAST TEXAS HOG DOGGERS FORUM

   Last year I had a hog to kill one of my cur dogs ( Uno ) and cut up the other 3 curs and both Dogos. 6 dogs total and all 6 were cut up.  Uno didnt make it but we got the hog.  I sent him down to my friends Thre and Diana with T&D taxidermay to get him mounted. I decided we wanted something unusaul and uniqe . So we came up with a half body mount with a left turn and a slight twist upward like he was hooking a dog.  Thre and Diana done an outstanding job on the hog after many hours of cutting, skulpting, building up and pieciing it back together. They got him all put back together and finished up.  We had a get together here at my place and planed a weekend of hog hunting and Thre and Diana even delivered my hog mount.  Got him hung on the wall in the den and let me tell ya,  he is impressive and the art work on him brought him to life.  Of course im more impressed than my wife is .

One heck of a nice mount. Never seen one like that before . Looks good. Every time you look at it you will remmber the dogs that got it for you.

What a unique pose.  You better watch walking into that room at night might have a heart attack. It looks like he's jumping through the wall.

NICE MOUNT!!!  We just got the Butcher back the other day, but CJ only got the traditional shoulder mount.  Still came out really nice though.  If I tried to put that on the wall at our house, my better half would run me off for GOOD! lol

So many taxidermists tend to get the face too wide . That one looks natural. Naturally mean and bad to the bone.  I like it, for what that's worth.

Marvin as long as your happy with it. It was alot of work , they just don't make forms for hogs like that , so its all custom.  Being a dog hunter myself I know the meaning of a good dog and it was an honor to have mounted the hog in memory of ole UNO! All thats missing is a framed picture of ole UNO under the mount.

wow, one of the best hog mounts i have ever seen!  do they have a website?  I know where to go when my dream hog is caught.  Good way to always remember your dog too!

Good story behind your  hog!!I have caught some bigg toothed hogs that sounded like a sow squealing never would mount them but one with a story deserves the right to be on the wall!!

Thre and Herchiel had moved a  " Self Potriat " of Melindas father from over the TV and was drillin holes in the wall.
