Title: Re: Wheelock tx Post by: bluejock24 on October 11, 2010, 04:44:02 pm I am from franklin and have hunted alot around wheelock, new baden, marquez, but mostly around easterly. there are some big hogs in that area but you better havesome dogs that arent goin to be to gritty or open. alot of people hunt in that area and it is real common to have dogs push those hogs quite a ways. it is not un common for you to end up actually having dogs bayed up a mile or so from where you struck so do your home work on whose places you may end up on and the layout of the place.

Th mngr said cause all th hogs hang out in three diff thickets on 1500-2000 acres so there is a ton of hogs once u get in th brush th ole ladies brother got charged by a big one Saturday bloodtrailin a deer. There is a ton of hogs out there an spend most th year feedin on rice bran
