I stopped in to see the progress this morning. They had done this to mount on an aluminum gate. It looks sweet.

Here's some of the first box. It is stick-n-move's.

I don't think that it will rattle apart anytime soon, that thing looks stout as hell and some good welding.  Look forward to seeing the finished product.
Matt

I really like that cut out.   Josh  Your friend does a nice job welding.

I really like that cut out.   Josh  Your friend does a nice job welding.

He has a program where it allows him to take any picture, and turn it into a burn table design.  I'm waiting on the perfect hog bay pic to get something done.  He can burn steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.  Think of the possibilities.   ;D

It's nice having friends with burn tables. My neighbor/friend has a 10' x 40' table, and my next project is an entrance gate with a bay scene.

Looking at the box that he has been working on, I imagine they will be some fine looking, well functioning boxes.  I like that he takes the time to miter his angles and that his welds seem symmetrical. Just a couple of small touches that tell me a man takes pride in his work.

I agree Matt.

Im looking forward to seeing them all when I get there. Josh said out of the four boxes, we each had different designs and preferences.
I am sure I will have at least one "O man! Why didnt I think of that" moment.

I didnt like stick-n-move's tall rail in the drawing but it looks good in these pictures!

Here is what I have hanging on my gate going into the area I keep my dogs.  My sister drew it up and Raul cut it out.  Looks alot better in person.  I let it rust good and then go over it with mineral oil and it keep it looking rustic.

Haha yeah that was kinda random.  Where I had it in barn when it would rain it would drip down on it and made that oddrust spot.  Now that it has been outside a few months it has evened out nicely.

I went by this morning to make a modification on Ninja's box on his behalf.  They had the four pieces done on it, just needing to weld them together.  Man, it is going to be super sharp looking.  Stick-n-move, I had them add another vertical bar on each side of the door, to make the gapping smaller.  I just felt that pups would have been getting out easily the way it was.  I think you'll be very happy with it once you see the final product.  These boxes should be very strong with great function to them.  I can't wait to see them mounted on the Rangers.  I'd really like to see them posted when everything is done.

Regards,
Josh

Yes, I'll take a few pics.  I was told they are building the doors up today (they got the hinges in).  Getting close Texas men.  Getting close.   ;D

Not to worry, after February I plan on breeding one of my females to a great Bluetick male. Alan can get some of them if he elects to.  Quality diller dogs are hard to come by.

I was willing to throw in a 34 pound thrust trolling motor with only one blade left on the prop, a single flip-flop (pups drug the other one off), and a pair of black mouth cur pups from Chance Ward's place.   ;D
Man is it hard to get the cur dogs off you hands once someone drops them off.  Stinking short eared dogs.   ;)
