What is the life expectancy of these collars? I have one that is tops 2 yrs and wont take a charge anymore.

Good Question! If batteries are gone, can they be changed at home?

Replacement batteries are available, and able to be changed at home.
Some of my collars are now ~ 2 years old, and they all seem to be working fine. Probably have 100-150 charges on each collar.

I clean mine before each charge but this one when I charge it the blue light comes on indicating the collar is taking charge. It will shut off indicating a full charge but when I check it it only has one bar and will last maybe one hour? How and where can I order these items?

Before you go buy a new battery, call Garmin.   I had one collar that did not charge correctly a couple times. The collar was over a year old, and out of warranty. I called Garmin, and they send me a brand new replacement battery, at no charge.  However, the collar started working fine before I ever put the new battery in. Now I have a new battery sitting in storage, waiting on an original one to fail.   In hindsight, I think I might have had some crud built up on the contacts not allowing the battery to take a full charge in the same time as the other collars.

one of my collars was not charging right i would put all my collars on charge and they would be fully charged and it would only have 2 bars and the blue light would never go off i  always clean them before charging with a tooth brush i finally scratched the contacts with a knife and never had any more trouble out of it  :-\
