Title: Re: young dog thats open on track Post by: Reuben on December 12, 2010, 06:03:53 pm Some mtn curs are open on track and the more you hunt them the quieter they get and others stay open.
Some will actually run silent after they get older but will open if the hog breaks bay. Some mtn curs are become great strike dogs that can find a hog if it is in the area. When you have a dog like this it shouldn't matter if it opens as long as it can burn up a track and put a hog on the other end, What strain of mtn cur and what size?
