Title: Re: Sausage Casings Post by: Hogger on November 26, 2008, 09:07:26 am Allied Kenco 713-691-2935 in North Houston. They will any and everything that you will ever need to process any kind of meat. Give them a call and they will ship to you next day air. I also get casing at Food Town Grocery. Some of your grocery stores carry them. They will be back in the frozen meats section.
Title: Re: Sausage Casings Post by: longshot on November 26, 2008, 01:05:29 pm Every local deer processing plant that I have been to all sell casings. You can get pre-flushed natural casings to make links or the paper summer suasage casings in 3 or 5lb tubes.
The meat processor will be much cheaper than any of the stores mentioned above. Last time I checked the summer sausage casings were like .25cents each and the natural casings were around $12-15 for a package. 1 package is like 500ft of suasage. You will be sick of making suasage before you the package up.....LOL Good Luck Longshot Title: Re: Sausage Casings Post by: shawn on November 27, 2008, 04:40:38 am thanks guys, i found some at academy, will be making some after thanksgiving sausage, if they turn out any good and with the bird we'll eat today, i probably will look like Jerrod before the subway diet.
