(http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t36/lorianndes/IMG_3673.jpg)      I went out to the Winnie rice fields with Mex and the minute I stepped out of the truck I realized the place was infested with hogs,you couldnt go 5 foot on this place without seeing some type of hog sign.After all the dogs were vested and collared we hit the trail,Mex's little Tigg dog rolled out about 800 yards so Mex decided to see what she was up to.  Once he found her she was covered in blood so he thought she was cut but wasnt,seems she caught a small pig and decided to have a prehunt snack ;D  We finally regrouped with all of the dogs on the 4 wheelers and didnt make it 400 yards down the road when Mexs big Plott Ike winded one off the back of the 4 wheeler.Ike ran in maybe 150 yards and was bayed hard and was shortly joined by my dog Classy and Tigg.We then cut loose my new ugly CD Legs, the trainees Jaws and Mexs Dogo and they all took off to the bay in a hurry and we heard when they hit the hog.We made it to the bay and it was so thick that I wasnt but 20 yards away and couldnt see what was going on,I decided to head in and leg the hog then he must have dragged the CDs off on the trees and broke with all the dogs on his heals.The hog made it about it about 200 yards then was shut down again by the CDs,he then committed suicide by running into Jetts blade.That was one rough little boar,its a good thing he didnt have big teeth because I think he would have done some damage.This was also this young mans first stick,we also had 4 other young guys with us that were totally pumped so I figure they will be on here before long looking for dogs.It was a short but sweet hunt,I wish they all went like that!!!!PJ ''Mex''is on the left side of the pic and the handsome tattoed up fellow is me. ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Man tamales on the way and yes he is gonna eat good.My Buelita is 86 and still ready to make tamales!She was glad he was clean though.

Hillbilly almost every hog you catch down in my neck of the woods is solid black,thats the first one this year I have caught that wasnt black.I love hunting up in the panhandle,spotted ,blondes ,reds and silver hogs everywhere.Mex I hope Bueltia is your grandmother,I need to learn some spanish while I am hanging out with you.

I will take some pics of all the dogs except for my poor old ugly CD,hes so ugly its embarrassing.I am going to make a post in the future just to see if anyone has an uglier dog,I dont think he can be beaten in an ugly dog contest but he is doing his job.

 ;D I seen Ole Leggs he is an ugly one but he catches hard. Better to be embarrassed for an ugly dog than one that dont catch. LOL. 

You sure got that right Wade,I can get over that uglyness alot easier than I can what happend to me awile back with the dog that quit catching.You must have seen my post about the dog that quit catching.I was worried about Leggs because the first 2 hogs this dog caught he would only grab the front legs but the last 2 he has moved on to a better spot.He also has my young pit racing him to get to the hog so I think he will be around for a good bit.That dog will honor a bay better than any dog I have owned but damn he is hard to look at :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:The pork on the other end is beautiful though.

If you are talking about the Dogo we had it and it went in and caught with the others.Heath I have 2 pups now that I will have to train and am going to get a Plott pup from PJ the next time he has a litter.I swore I would never own another Plott but Ike reminded me of the old days when he bayed that hog and was shaking the leaves off the trees with that big mouth.Old Ugly Legs went in and caught on the head this time instead of the legs which made me feel much better.Either way he gets there in a hurry and get its done.

I dont know what the deal was with the dog that day Cody,he catches and most the most important thing to me is how quick he gets there and is teaching my young pit to do the same.That dog had me worried at first.When I first told the story about him catching on the legs I had half the doggers from LA calling me telling me how good the dog was and they couldnt believe he was doing what he did.
