Title: Alabama & Ok boys come to Tx...25 good hogs in 4 days...*video added* Post by: Txhoghunter on January 30, 2011, 07:46:19 pm Matt(Chainrated), Shawn, his stepson Matt, KevinO, Richie, and Kevin A all came to the ranch this weekend for a big hunt. Let me just say, this was about the most fun Ive had on a hunt with some of the best guys I know. WAYYYY too much to type, but we caugt a bunch of good hogs(and a ton of pigs we didnt count) Had some excellent food, and great weather. All the dogs did great, with no major injuries. Also caught the biggest hog Ive run through scales(307 lbs) also. Im sure te other guys will add more stories and pics, but I'll start.

Brinks (Matt's cur dog) bayed this hog for close to 2 hours before Shawn, Richie and I made it to him. We sent one bulldog and the first time he missed. Hog broke and ran 500 yards and Brinks stopped him again. The second time the bulldog was true. We got it all on the head mounted video camera. Just crashed my email trying to email them. Here is a video of a hog that Brinks (Matts Cur dog) bayed solo for two hours before we got to him. We sent the bulldog and he missed the first go round but secured him long enough the second attempt.
I'll work on downloading some more but I've got to get some work done today. LOL! Admin if this video is too graphic take it down. Bulldog was just fine but did take a little poke to the shoulder. I will try to remember the catchdog next time. He will be riding in the pasenger seat and Matt will have to ride in the back. Glad we got out befor the deep freeze.
