Title: 5 hogs
Post by: jsh on January 31, 2011, 08:37:25 pm
Got to hunt a new spot Saturday.  Ended up with 5 plus one boar the night before.  Forgot to clear out the memory on my video glasses, so lost a lot of good video.  Had a good bay, but the briars were so thick the bulldogs couldn't get through them.  Good boar comes bustin' out and Debo is in pursuit about to get an ear.  The the hog cuts right, runs over the tank dam and catch dog slips and goes face first in the mud.  He gets back up and starts running the other way ???.  Turns out there was a big sow trying to slip out behind me that caught his eye so the dogs pack up and go after her.  Lrhlrhlrh89's dog is leading the pack gaining on her fast.  Managed to get one pic of her. It was nice watching the dogs run her down out in the open.  Wild Bill weighed her in at 214lb.

Rooney, Leo, Bomber, Pipeye and Debo.
