Title: BLACK GOLD Post by: Jasonmac on December 11, 2008, 03:59:52 pm Can anyone tell me about black gold and does it really work?
Title: Re: BLACK GOLD Post by: slimpickins on December 12, 2008, 07:31:39 am It is a molasses based liquid attractant, that hogs love to rub on, that means you can use in places where baiting is prohibited.
I use it on rubbing posts and trees and in the ground on corn that is buried. Title: Re: BLACK GOLD Post by: Jasonmac on December 12, 2008, 09:49:28 am OK is it that good. Does it make them come in that much better?
Title: Re: BLACK GOLD Post by: slimpickins on December 12, 2008, 12:07:20 pm Sorry, yes, I have had great luck with it, as well as several other members.
Granted, it won't make hogs magically appear, but it will bring hogs in, if they can smell it. ;) Title: Re: BLACK GOLD Post by: catchrcall on December 12, 2008, 12:08:38 pm it won't make it rain hogs, but it will keep them in an area longer and keep them visiting. i like to put a black gold rub post, with rope wrapped around a tree, next to my five gallon bucket feeder. that way if the small feeder runs out of corn the hogs still have a reason to come to the area untill i get it filled again. it goes farther that you think it will. when i first started on it i think i wasted a lot. half a bottle or so goes a long way. i consider it money well spent for the returns i've gotten.
