Young female pit, i picked up along the road trying to get into any vehicle and bout got ran over twice, so i stopped and picked her up, so far nobody has claimed her, so i guess i will try her out. ;D (http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu277/tnhillbilly/Mobile%20Uploads/0202111429.jpg) Not set on a name yet, but i call him feet, cause he has the ugliest feet on a dog i ever seen. (reg. FBMC) (http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu277/tnhillbilly/Mobile%20Uploads/0202111428a.jpg) This is dixie, the only pup that momma didnt eat, probly should have named her lucky :D But my oldest daughter named her so she might be stuck with it. Plott) a young gyp i just started, but she is really takin off like a rocket, already findin and bayin by herself. Out struck old dog this past sat. Hey....have you ever thought about crossing Harpo with one of you females? Belle, my best dog, the white one in the pics is half fiest and half cur, not sure what kind of cur though. My other AB female queen is coming along, but still wouldnt consider her finished.

If Dixie is the only pup mama didn't eat makes her lucky. Usually when the Mama eats the pups is because she is real nervous about something. A lot of the times it has to do with other dogs being to close or in the same kennel while she is having the pups. The best thing to do is set her up away from other dogs in a quiet place so she can have her pups without any stress. This is what puzzled me, she was in a single brood pen all by herself and away from other dogs, and i put her in there a couple weeks before to give her time to adjust, so she wouldnt be stressed, and usually they will eat them all, but she left this one. The only thing i can figure is she just got too full. Unless there was something wrong with them but they all looked healthy to me. |
