Title: Bowfishing Post by: BIG BEN on February 05, 2011, 03:50:23 pm Well after not having a boat for almost 5 years me and my Dad went halves on a 16ft Landau flattbottom boat. I havent ever been bowfishing but am willing to give it a go. How many od you guys bowfish? Whats the best rig for it Compound or Stickbow?

I personally prefer a recurve with only a 50 lbs draw weight. It's a lot of fun and I wish I still had time for it.

And Im looking into one of those lil honda generators that are supposed to be quiet to run the lights. I just cant wait to hit the water and get some good eats, I cant stand buying fish from the market.

I havnt shot a bow in a while, and they have come a long way since i was into it. I traded for a mathews a month or two ago and i havnt shot it the first time.
