As for breed, I asked the owner what they were. I was thinking they were AB, or AB x dogo crosses. I was wrong evidently. He stated they were Catahoulas. rolleyes I laughed directly to his face, and said fraid not. Those have bulldog in them for sure. He said no, way back they had some blackmouth cur mixed in, but they were catahoulas. Considering he just sent his dogs into my bay, and had the nerve to tell me his dogs had found the hog, I just laughed. :D I was pretty outspoken towards him, and let him and his buddies know I did not appriciate it. The guys with me were in total disbelief that he would even have the nerve to say anything at all. Pretty sure the term "Rookie" applies here. Another public hunt where people dump to a hog I've got bayed. It seems to be the way of life for that part of the state. Completely different style of hunting is a very nice way to say it I guess. ??? Sure is hard to argue with a garmin. They don't lie. ;D Title: Re: Humor me. I believe too much white means they carry blindness or deafness genes. All I know is they cull Catahoulas with too much white. So no matter what the guy is an idiot.

Post by: zachW on February 08, 2011, 08:46:49 am my old roommate had a dog that looked just like them really ugly dog, and allways fat, but she had mastiff and some pit, and some other things, would catch a pig, but i drove along ways one day to look at some pups, they were pyranese by cat, when i got their this old boys cat was solid white, shorter then knee high and had a little head, he pointed at one spot on its belly and siad that makes it a catahoula. i tried to leave my girl friend edned up with two pups, they all turned out to me great dogs for the people i gave them too
