Title: 2\7 More Hill Country Ivory Post by: longshot on February 10, 2011, 02:11:26 pm JJ and I have been on a run of toothy boars latley and have been lucky with no dogs cut.....till today!
JJs booger and my Jagd Kat leave out and locate a group of hogs. We drove to their locattion. Sage and Wiggles jump off the truck and head to the action. Sage and Wiggles back trail almost a mile and set up bayed on this hog. (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y202/longshotjames/0cd7ee30.jpg) (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y202/longshotjames/f17f486f.jpg) he weighed around 150lbs and had razors for teeth around 2 1\2in. My catch dogs Doodle and Sadie were both cut below and behind the vest but they held him well. We got everyone accounted for safe and realized Booger never showed up and was still on the group of hogs, Sage and Wiggles again jumped to help him and we got a 60lb boar hemmed up this time. We have ended up with a lot of Ivory in the last month hunting in the hill country! I only wear the fancy shirt for you! knowing your sexual prefrence, I figured if I looked gay you would want me to hunt with you more! ;) willhunt4food, no, JJ does not have him anymore. Hawk was rough as a cobb, JJ caught a lot of hogs with him but he was always on the IR list. JJ traded him to someone I believe. IMO he was a bay buster Goatcher, that dog in the first picture is JJ's Wiggles dog. 1\2plott X 1\2catahoula (I believe) Title: Re: 2\7 More Hill Country Ivory Post by: DubbleRDawgs on February 10, 2011, 06:52:53 pm that is a goood tooofie hog there :) great job and some fine looking dogs ...
