Title: Re: Mr HG riding lessons Post by: Mr. HG on December 21, 2008, 07:00:46 am I was getting some california riding lessons from bigworm while he was leading me.There is a bit of a story that goes along with how Flatbroke got to ride Mr joe horse I was thinking Mike FB is man enough to tell it and we are all waiting.Can you imagine those sorry dogs stop that hog in the middle of that field that was a sight.Good pixs Joel the brains of the operation.
Title: Re: Mr HG riding lessons Post by: Flatbroke on December 21, 2008, 06:57:15 pm Well, we were traveling along the river bank and realdogs, Des and the Mighty Worm headed out on the Iron Horses about a 3/4 of a mile away as a couple of Des' dogs had a hog bayed. Mr. Joe and I stayed as we had a couple dogs working ahead of us. We decided to go to the Bay after about five to ten minutes.
Mr. Joe told me to mount the horse and lets ride. I thought to my self and aloud, heck anything short of a Clydesdale would be hard pressed to carry my fluffy arse. Mr. Joe chuckled and said he would be fine. as I got my left leg in the stirrup the saddle started to slip and the Horse must of thought "O' Heck no, I packing this tub of lard", and proceed to get a little western, (not too bad) I dismounted and calmed the horse's fear. After Mr. Joe finished laughing, you know the kind, the deep down in the belly hardy laugh, he said use this horse.
