Title: decent red boar Post by: goose on March 08, 2011, 11:09:24 am went and hunted some marshland not long ago and caught this red boar...never hunted around marsh cows before and have to say it was an experience it was like the hog and cows worked together this place is dogged pretty hard and as soon as the dogs got on the hogs they would head straight for the cows and the head hunting would begin...on the way in i saw some cows and noticed as we were walking to the dogs bayed we were headed in the direction i had saw the cows so we decided to slip in and make sure they have a hog bayed as were slipping in my buddy sees this boar swimming a canal by this time i ddnt know who was in more danger the cows or the dogs cuz they were working the fire outa each other lol...now some would say this turned out bad but what took place next tickled me pink out of 7 or 8 baydogs only two were over two years old and have a decent handle and were called out the rest of the dogs were dogs weve raised from pups have really been putting alot of time into we ddnt have any shocking collars on them and have really worked with each one and were able to call them all out it wasnt easy there were more than a few choice words thrown out there and some sticks thrown but it only took a few minutes we couldnt go on ther and get them cuz we were in the middle of the marsh and wasnt very many trees...walk the dogs around to the other side of tghe canal and put on his track bout an hour later and wanst bout 45 min later we had him tied(http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae248/goose_87/morehuntinpics039.jpg)
