Post by: tnhillbilly on March 23, 2011, 04:44:16 am The catahoula i picked up in texas had pups today, they are, best we can figure is 1/2 cat and 1/2 jack russell. had 7. 4 are leopard spotted 2 white, and 1 black. I might have to keep one of the leopard ones, would be neat to have a leopard jack russell. LOL
if this might be something you would be interested in they are free. There is a guy not far from you in GA that is doing that exact cross for smaller hog dogs and having some success with it. He took his first cross JRT/Cat to a Jagd male and the pups are turning out very gritty. It wouldn't hurt to keep one and try it out or at least keep one close by just to see what it does.

I have been tryin my best not to fool with them at all, so i dont get to likeing any of them, but there is one that every time i go out there and squat down, it tries to climb in my lap. They are not bashful at all, very friendly, ut already playin pretty rough too.
