Title: Recent boars Post by: bougalee on April 03, 2011, 08:38:52 pm Been wanting a nice sow or two to grind up with the deer killed last season. All we been getting or these trashy boars. The pic with the big toothed hog with my son-in-law and grandson was killed yesterday. Stuart my son-in-law was out scouting for turkey when he heard two boars fighting in the woods. He called for me, but I was out in the garden away from the phone and didn't get the message until after it all was over. It was a runner and a fighter, dogs had it stopped four times, but the catch dogs could not hold it. They took a beating for their efforts. Finally Stuart killed it with a well placed shot with his 30/30. Anyhow I'll show that hog and a few others. Sure wish we could get on some sows soon.
