Title: Rain totals
Post by: Wmwendler on May 12, 2011, 09:56:08 pm
Since we have a good representation of people living though out all of Texas on here.  I thought it might be interesting if people will post what their rain fall totals were from the past two days.

Where I live in College Station  I got 2 & 1/2 inches.  We got 2 at our place near Clay in Burleson County.  My mom said they got 2 1/2 in Salado, Bell County.

The weather shows another chance next week.  Now if we can get an inch a week untill mid July it will be a good start. ;D

La Porte, Tx   Did not register in the rain gauge at home, and the local reporting stations are showing between .03 inches and .20 inches.

Thankful for what we did get though...

North, South, East and West of us got inches or rain but in Milam County just west of the Brazos we got just under 1/2" and I am very grateful for it but I sure would like to get one of those multi inch rains there.  Here at home, SW Montgomery County we got about 3/4" which wet a long way in keeping the dust down and reviving the plants.

that's great. I might have to knock the dust off a couple dogs and get in a fayette county hunt or two in this cool weather.
