EAST TEXAS HOG DOGGERS FORUM

So we were hunting last night the dogs kicked out of range for the garmin so we started after them and ran up on a full size guillotine and a huge cooking pot in the middle of a fire pit!!!! It was way out in the middle of no where and at 1 in the morning. I was ready to catch the dogs and head out! What would yall think if you ran up on something like that. Seeing as those are made to kill people lol

id be going back during the day and checking it all out sounds pretty cool but at night i would have ben freaked out lol

I hope you marked it on your Garmin and call the authorities. It was probably a human trafficking storehouse. They kill a few folks in very visible and haunting ways and the rest will get more and more money wired. If you really saw what you described, please, go to the cops!! Not only will you be possibly saving lives but you may be saving your own.

I'm not joking or saying any of this for effect. These places are often hidden in plain sight. About 70% Of safe houses are in neighborhoods and trailer parks. If you ever come across one in the woods, run. They hide those for VERY GOOD REASON!!!!!!!

WOW.....thats freaky! i would damn sure call the authorities, or mark the spot n go scope it out for awhile with a whole buttload of my buddies

how close is this to the tyler area?

I am a police officer and I'm telling you that you need to call the local authorities.  It sounds like it could be a few different things. Very well could be a "kill show" for a human trafficking ring. Kill one just to show the rest that they will. Or it could be some sacrificial material for some type of cult. Either way, they need to be investigated at the least.

I hope it some serious historian but hunters find things that solve serious crimes. I would not go back unless it was with law enforcement.

I had something similar like that happen to me. I ran up on 6 Jamaicans that were into some voodoo stuff. These guys were sacrificing a cow and drinking blood. All I could do was put a dip in my mouth and give them the Clint Eastwood stare.  Its a scary  situation to be in.  

bet u wish u had a dirty hairy 44 mag then!!! i guess there is some up sides to haven a gun in the woods when hog doggen. just shows u never know?

Okay guys I got some news! It was in the Palestine area and turned out to be someone's "haunted trail" that they put on every Halloween! Hahaha needless to say I can go back and hunt and not fear for my life!!

We hunted an old place one time... came up on an old, old gallows out in deep woods... was no mistakin' was it's purpose was...

I figured it would be nothing. But I would hate to find out it was not and people got killed after I saw it. So I would have reported it.

That's was just my gumbo pot. I was using the guilotine to cut up the okra!

I feel cheated. I was hoping you were gonna answer back with news it was a shrine that was used in the sacrificial slaying of lepracauns or umpalumpa's. If you sent back pics of a catch dog chewing on Willy Wonka's golden ticket I would have slept better at night. Now I can only wonder what real horror is out there lurking in the darkness waiting to Michael Jackson someone without warning.

(OK for real it did sound perty jacked up to begin with but I am glad you boys figured out the truth and didn't end up in a Blair Witch kinda scenario).

Definantly freaky to walk up on but would have been cool to set snares and steel traps around for fun.
