I'll call that kind of dog a good lookin one.

I'd call it a reverse black & tan saddlebacked cur dog.  There are several guys here on the board who raise them.

that is a good looking dog, it kinda looks like it has some wire hair, might have a little jagd in it

Some friends of mine bought a blck and tan from some people somewhere northeast texas and they threw her in the deal... well my buddys didnt want her she was too skiddish... she has come a long way patience paid off... so I have no clue where she came from I dont know when she was born I am guessing she is around 10 months and webbed feet mabey a little webbed not all the way to the end of her toes

I'm gonna say hound/mtn Cur
Hound cause she has tight looking feet like most hounds and she's gotta mtn Cur shape about her. She's a goodlooking well built dog

I would like to know what the mother was. I sent a female down a couple yrs ago, that was colored up like that. 1/2 mtn cur 1/2 red bone and she was a little skidish/timid but would bay the hair off a hog.
    Has a hound head and ears, feet look BMC,  could be a little of everything

i seen one lokked alot like her   was plott x catahoula      i say plott x with either cat and mountain    she looks pretty young

has facial features like a lacy dog may cur & lacy dog or reverse cur

Looks like a full blooded Boar Hound to me!  :D

She looks a lot like a dog i use 2 have one of the best i have had Cat x Plott

Thanks for all the comments... Im just getting into this hog huntin and she is a good dog, I like her too!! She is real short too like 16"-18" to her back if that helps any... real quick on her feet knows how to work a hog, I just need to get her to get out and strike her own but Im still working on that, Thanks again.

Looks like a saddleback to me. My buddy has a dog that looks almost like that dog and she is a great dog and she is not a year old yet.

since she is that short I would bet she is Mtn cur or Jagd Cross for the size. The size and color match a Jagd, but not those ears

i have a plott x cat cross that im running but she is solid black with brindle legs from the knees down. but your dogs head and body is shaped just like my dogs. I would have to agree with a plott cross, possibly with a cat

i had a mountain cur that looked a lot like her. really skittish also. but with time you can fix that enough to hunt the dog if shes a hunter? mine was nothing more than a me too dog...

I have a pup that looks just like her, mine is half lacy quarter plott quarter mountain curr maybe that will help

Yea if she is skittish and hunts good its probabally one of my dogs that I beat the hunt into. Did she have a tracking collar with a dead battery on her? >:D

My dog that is colored almost exactly like your gyp he is Cat x Walker. Good looking dog you have.

I have seen a walker/cur cross that looked very similar to that dog!
